No brawn, only brains for Jai

The franchise is known for its sleek characters, who flaunt their sculpted bodies onscreen. This was made evident by the hoopla surrounding Bipasha Basu and Aishwarya Rai’s skimpy outfits in Dhoom 2. The grapevine is abuzz that Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Abhishek Bachchan are also getting in shape for the third part before they go to Chicago for a 40-day schedule. Abhishek apparently started training with Ajay Devgn while making Bol Bachchan. He says, “Ajay and I have been hanging out together since before I became an actor and I’ve always been physically very agile. It’s not as if I’ve suddenly gone gym crazy.”

He admits that every movie requires a certain kind of training to meet the demands of the script. But he insists that Dhoom 3 doesn’t require a particular body type as far as his character goes.

“Jai, as we’ve seen in the first two films, is an intelligent cop. No matter who his opponent is, he doesn’t need brawn to outwit them. It’s a privilege working with an actor like Aamir (Khan), but as far as the script goes, Jai will be a match for him.”
