In over three decades of his association with Bollywood, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has delivered iconic films like Arth, Saaransh, and Zakhm, but he says he is ready to quit direction.

“I have said goodbye to direction. I am encouraging new talent. I am a 64-year-old man now, and at my age, encouraging upcoming talent is very satisfying,” said Bhatt. The filmmaker, through his banner Vishesh Films, has given a creative platform to many directors and actors including directors Mohit Suri, Vishal Mahadkar, and actor Emraan Hashmi.
