No distribution tie up for Shah Rukh Khan's Raees yet

The trade sphere has been abuzz with speculation regarding the clash of Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan and Sultan starring Salman Khan on Eid 2016.

The trade sphere has been abuzz with speculation regarding the clash of Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan and Sultan starring Salman Khan on Eid 2016.

There was news that co-producer Shah Rukh had tied up with Eros for his film’s worldwide release, since the company is known to have the most widespread distribution network in the USA and the UK.

Raees is an Excel Entertainment production starring Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is directed by Rahul Dholakia. (iamsrk/Twitter)

But contrary to reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment negated the rumours with a tweet, posting, “As of now, @RedChilliesEnt is thrilled for our next release - #Dilwale, coming 18th December this year. @RaeesTheFilm is scheduled for Eid 2016. Contrary to media reports there are no tie-ups on the distribution front yet.”
