The first trailer of Paresh Rawal’s Guest iin London was released on Thursday and it looks like a sequel to Rawal’s 2010 film, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?. The producer of the film, Abhishek Pathak, however has claimed the film is not a sequel.

Paresh Rawal played the univited guest in Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge that starred Ajay Devgn and Konkona Sen Sharma as the unsuspecting hosts.

“Guest in London is not a sequel to Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?, it’s a different film with a different story and different characters,” Pathak said in a statement.

The film features Kartik Aaryan, Paresh Rawal, Tanvi Azmi and Kriti Kharbanda.

Kartik Aryan and Kriti Kharbhanda play hosts in the film.

“Guest iin London is a completely different film altogether. Panorama Studios is already in discussion with Warner Bros Pictures for the sequel and Kiaan Entertainment will not be a part of that film,” said Mohan Nadaar, Director of Kiaan Entertainment Ltd (UK).

Guest iin London deals with an odd old couple from rural India who land up uninvited as guests in a suburban London home of a young couple. What follows is a series of misadventures one after the other turning the young couple’s lives upside down.

Presented by Panorama Studios, Guest iin London is written and directed by Ashwni Dhir. The film releases on June 16.
