He may be a successful director now, but Prabhudheva’s original claim to fame are his killer dance moves. And it’s for the latter that the dancer-choreographer has been invited to the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IIFM).

“I’m very excited to be the chief guest. It’s good that a Bollywood dance show has been organised at the festival. I’m looking forward to attending it and I hope to spot some great talent,” says Prabhudheva, who will judge the All Australia Bollywood Dance Competition. Apart from the contest, he will also talk about his next film, Ramaiya Vastavaiya, at the film festival. “Girish Kumar (lead actor) and I will attend a special conference to talk about the film.
We’re thrilled to introduce our film to the Hindi-movie watching audiences in Melbourne,” says Prabhudeva, who has directed the film.
