Actor Preity Zinta, who has acted and co-written the script of her upcoming flick, Ishkq in Paris, says she is nervous about her debut as a writer.
“Writing Ishkq In Paris was great but I’m very nervous about it. More than the acting, I am nervous about the writing bit. Prem Raj (film’s director) and I have written it together. As an actor you always have an excuse if someone questions your movie choice ... you can say, ‘I’m just acting in it.’ But writing is the crux of every film and I’ve tried to write a decent story. People can watch this film with their family.”
About her love for cricket, Preity, who co-owns IPL team Kings XI Punjab, says, “When I first got into the cricket business five years ago, I was an outsider. But now I know the game.”
Her favourite player in the team, she says, is “the player who wins the game for us on that day. I have no such hard and fast favourites, to be my favourite you have to earn it. And you have to earn it with hard work.”
