7,000 earthen lamps and 150 people employed for Jalte Diye shoot

Around 7,000 earthen lamps were used and 150 people were employed to keep them burning through the shoot of Jalte Diye, the latest song from Salman Khan-Sonam Kapoor-starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

There is a little more to the latest song of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo than Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor: Over 7,000 diyas (earthen lamps) were used during the picturisation of the song. Also, it took the production team over 150 people to light the diyas and keep them burning throughout the shoot of Jalte diye, which was released on Wednesday, read a statement.

“Sooraj (Barjatya) undertook extensive measures to bring in a royal look to the song. Nearly 150 crew members were present to make sure that the diyas stayed lit,” a spokesperson of the film said in the statement.
