Queen Kangana Ranaut descends on Cannes red carpet in a glittery grey dress
Kangana Ranaut made a stellar debut on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in a Zuhair Murad gown.
Kangana Ranaut has brought her A-game to her very first outing at the Cannes Film Festival. After rocking a shimmery black Sabyasachi saree on Wednesday, the actor has opted for a glittery Zuhair Murad gown for her first walk on the red carpet.

In a small tease posted by her team on Instagram, Kangana is seen walking in her hotel lobby as her beautiful grey dress billows behind her. The backless gown looks amazing on her as she glides her way to the festival.

Kangana chose a gorgeously twinkling black saree on Wednesday, channelling a glamorous Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Speaking at the Indian Pavillion at the 71st edition of the festival, where she had a discussion with Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairman Prasoon Joshi on women in Indian films, Kangana said the times have changed and gender bias is not the norm anymore in the film industry.
Asked if she is an exception, Kangana said, “I am not an exception. With the modernisation and the way the world has changed...the difference between men and women have changed. There is a certain equality that has come about in he system. People now question if actor and actresses put in the same effort, why can’t they be treated as equals?”
Kangana, who is at the Cannes Film Festival on behalf of Grey Goose India, will attend the festival for three days and will walk the red carpet on May 10.
Deepika Padukone, Huma Qureshi and Sonam Kapoor will also be at Cannes, along with Pakistani actor Mahira Khan.
On the work front, Kangana was last seen in Hansal Mehta’s Simran and is currently working on Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
