Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun brings Ayushmann Khuranna and Radhika Apte together onscreen for the first time.

Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khuranna and Radhika Apte announced the title for their upcoming film in a video, which they shared on Twitter on Tuesday. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film also stars Tabu in an important role. Ayushmann plays a vision-impaired pianist in the movie.

In a fun video, the crew of the film is seen guessing the title of the movie and come up with rather weird names. While Ayushmann comes up with Kala Chashma and Piano, Radhika -- who has done Badlapur with Raghavan previously -- suggests Andheri.

Sharing the video, Ayushmann tweeted, “Oh it’s not easy when you have to match up to Sriram Raghavan’s string of badass film titles but we all gave it a try! Presenting #AndhaDhun! http://bit.ly/AndhadhunTitle-Teaser … @andhadhunfilm @radhika_apte #Tabu #SriramRaghavan @Viacom18Movies @Matchboxpix @ZeeMusicCompany.”

The first look of the film will be revealed on Wednesday. Andhadhun will be set in Pune and the shoot is almost complete. Talking about the film’s title, Sriram told Mumbai Mirror, “We are punning with the title as Ayushmann plays a blind pianist. It goes well with the story too. We had a lot of options in our mind, including Shoot The Piano Player, but the producers weren’t keen on using an English title. I know the real word is ‘Andhadhund’, but the ‘D’ is silent for us.”

“It’s actually closer to Johnny Gaddaar (his 2007 neo-noir thriller) with its quirky characters and a strong plot revolving around Ayushmann, Tabu and Radhika. Amit Trivedi has done the music, and this is the first time my characters will be lisping in the film,” he further told the tabloid.
