Yesteryear actor Rakhee Gulzar attended the 54 Maharashtra Rajya Marathi Chitrapat Mahotsav Award. The actor, who is known to maintain a low profile in the social circuit made at exception and turned up for the event and caught everyone’s attention. In the pixie hair cut, the actor looked unrecognisable.

A leading lady in the ’70s and ‘80s, Rakhee, who made her last full-fledged appearance in the film Dil Ka Rishta (2003), was dressed in a simple pink and red saree and presented the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution award to actor Jackie Shroff. As a mark of respect, Shroff touched the veteran actor’s feet after receiving the award from her.
Rakhee, is still remembered for working in hit films such as, Kabhi Kabhie (1976), Trishul (1978) and Kaala Pathar (1979), among several others.
During the event, she was seen chatting with yesteryear actor Saira Banu, who received the Raj Kapoor Lifestyle Achievement award at the event held in Mumbai on April 30.
