Rani Mukerji had wrapped up a major portion of the shoot of director Pradeep Sarkar’s Mardaani before she left for Italy where she

to producer Aditya Chopra on April 21.
However, the remaining portion of the shoot was put on hold due to this break. But now, a source close to the production house has revealed that the actor is all set to resume work tomorrow (May 28).
"Rani was away for almost two weeks. She came back to India a fortnight ago and will resume shooting for the film this week," informs the source.

Only the last portion of the film needs to be shot. "The schedule was planned well in advance since no one knew about the wedding. Usually actors tend to take a longer break after tying the knot, but Rani wants to wrap up this commitment sooner," adds the source.
The

{{/usCountry}} (2012) actor will team up with Sarkar seven years after they worked together on Laaga Chunari Mein Daag: Journey Of A Woman in 2007.
When contacted, the director confirms the development, but refrained from revealing much. "We will commence the shoot on May 28 in Mumbai. It is the last schedule of the film," he says.
