Optimistic, passionate and strong — that’s how filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar remembers the evergreen Dev Anand, 88, who passed away in London on Saturday, due to a cardiac arrest. “The news of his death has just shocked us. I’ve been an ardent Dev Anand fan and it is really sad to know about his demise,” said Bhandarkar, who met the actor on his last birthday, Sep 26.
