Richa Chadha is a risk-taker and doesn’t mind being stereotyped

Actor Richa Chadha says that the only thing that tires her is getting repetitive parts in films, and that’s not happening.

Unlike many actors, who would get worked up when they are labelled with tags like offbeat, serious, non-commercial etc, actor Richa Chadha is fine with it. The actor, who is excited for her upcoming international project, Love Sonia, says she has become immune to this continuous stereotyping.

“I feel anybody who takes the road less trodden will be called offbeat or unconventional and it’s not stereotyping that I mind. I would like to be seen as somebody who loves to take risk with her career and is versatile,” says the actor adding that the only thing that tires her is getting repetitive parts.

Considering the fact that Richa has been to various film festivals abroad, it’s only obvious to draw comparisons with the award functions and film festivals that happen in India. “Indian film award functions cater to a different audience, and that’s why they are more TRP driven and follow an unchanging format. Still, I won’t prefer to compare these two same.”
