Rishi, Neetu return to big screen after 30 years

After almost three decades, Bollywood’s former blue-eyed boy Rishi Kapoor and wife Neetu Singh will be seen in Walt Disney’s first Hindi venture, the feature film Do Dooni Chaar.

The film will release on October 8. The film revolves around the life of a lower middle class family - the Duggals. “Rishi Kapoor plays the father. The film establishes how he has to consciously try to make a decent living with his schoolteacher salary and the increasing prices,” says the official spokesperson for the film, under the condition of anonymity.

The film has been produced by Planman Pictures and directed by Habib Faisal. He has earlier written Siddharth Anand’s Salaam Namaste, Ta Ra Rum Pum and Shaad Ali’s Jhoom Barabar Jhoom.
