Salman Khan gets bungalow for shoot comfort

Bollywood stars are known to get the VIP treatment, be it on a film set, in a movie theatre or at an event. But what happens when an A-list star — and not just any star, but blue-chip box-office asset Salman Khan — has a 50-day shoot schedule on the outskirts of the city? His producer-director friend gives him an entire bungalow, and adds amenities fit for a five-star hotel.

A few days ago, reports suggested that Salman, along with film-maker Sajid Nadiadwala, will stay at the actor’s Panvel farmhouse while shooting for Kick. “Later, Salman wanted to stay in Karjat, since he didn’t want to travel every day from Panvel. That’s when Sajid decided to undertake all the construction work,” says an insider close to the production house.

The bungalow situated in Karjat is generally used for shooting purposes. Now, to make the place fit for a star, it has been renovated into a plush temporary residence for Salman. The bungalow, we’re told, will now boast of a modern gymnasium and a private theatre as well. “There will also be a basketball court, a volleyball court and a table-tennis room. Besides, a Wi-Fi network is being added too. The place will have nothing less than five-star amenities,” the insider adds.
