The shoot for Salman Khan's Mental was stalled in Lavasa. The action sequence had to be stalled after action artistes from Mumbai and Hyderabad locked horns over allegations that the production team is biased towards Bollywood performers.
The dispute started when 30 fighters from Hyderabad and Chennai who were called in for an action sequence realized that they were inadequately represented vis-a-vis their Mumbai peers. While demographically there were only three Southern fighters for every seven from Bollywood, they further found out that they were being paid almost 50% lesser than their counterparts.

I am excited to work with Salman Khan in Mental, says Sana Khan
Model-turned-actress Sana Khan, who was one of the contestants in the sixth season of reality TV show Bigg Boss, is excited to share screen space with Salman Khan in Mental. Sana, who has acted in films down south and did special appearances in Hindi movies like Dana Dhan Goal, Bombay to Goa and Halla Bol, shot to fame last year with Bigg Boss.
Salman Khan's Mental features Tabu?
For some time now, talks have been rife about Salman Khan and Tabu starring in Sohail Khan’s Mental.
Although neither Tabu nor Sohail have gone on record about it, the actors were spotted shooting in Dubai a couple of days ago. Their roles are still unclear, but it’s believed that Salman and Tabu play siblings. Earlier, they worked together in Biwi No. 1 and Hum Saath Saath Hain (both 1999) but are yet to be cast as a couple.
Salman Khan creates fan frenzy in Dubai
Last month, HT Café first reported that Salman Khan will start filming brother Sohail’s next, Mental, in Dubai. Now, as the actor is in the middle of his first schedule in the desert city, he seems to have created nothing less than a frenzy in Dubai. Apparently, his fans have placed themselves across remote parts of the city to keep an eye about his whereabouts.
A couple of days ago, Salman was first spotted at the Saif Belhasa Driving Institute in Dubai to shoot a scene. Soon enough, one of his fans used his Twitter account to confirm the same. "In fact, he also immediately uploaded an amateur video (which isn’t very clearly shot) of Salman’s presence and shoot at Belhasa. Whenever we go around the city, we see a number of fans ready with their video cameras and mobile phones to capture his every movement," says an insider close to Salman.
