Sanjay Leela Bhansali fans won't like this one bit. The director, known for his royal sets and grand love sagas, has announced he's working on a sequel to the Akshay Kumar-starrer masala entertainer, Rowdy Rathore.

Bhansali Productions plans to roll Rowdy Rathore 2 by the mid of next year with Akshay Kumar in the lead role.

Bhansali, who turned producer in 1999, is synonymous with larger-than-life grandeur, stunning visuals and stories. Talking about his latest venture, Sanjay Leela Bhansali said, "I enjoy producing to an extent that it is the joy of creating.
There are several films in the pipeline and we are also going to roll with Rowdy Rathore 2 shortly, but its too soon to divulge details."
