Reportedly, film's producer G P Sippy's grandsons, Sascha and Shaan had licensed the remake rights to Sunil Bohra, but apparently Sippy's son, Suresh is upset about the remake.

According to sources, "Suresh and G P Sippy's grandsons, Sascha and Shaan, have had issues since a long time. There are problems in the Sippy family," reports The Times Of India.

While Suresh has created a storm over the issue, Sascha is quite calm and sure that he has done the right thing.

He revealed to the newspaper, "I don't understand why my uncle is being so funny. He does not have any documents to prove his claim. We have all the relevant papers in place. The matter is actually in court. The Delhi High Court has in fact restrained Mr Suresh Sippy from infringing our copyrights in several films, including Seeta Aur Geeta."
