The makes of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees decided to tease fans with a new look from the much-anticipated film ahead of the grand launch of the movie’s trailer on Wednesday afternoon.
Khan shared a new poster from the upcoming film that is set for release on January 26 next year.
SRK looks completely different from the first look that was shared earlier this year. While he looked like a serious, nonsense businessman in the earlier poster, the latest one shows him as a local goon. A few hours and we will get to see the trailer of the film.
Sources from the sets told Hindustan Times that everything - from SRK’s pathani suit to the surma to the glasses - was handpicked after long experiments. For example, the glasses that SRK wears inn the first poster, play a very integral character in the film and were chosen only after SRK tried 50 different glasses.

{{/usCountry}}Director Rahul Dholakia was very specific with the glasses as he wanted to give an edgy look to SRK’s character. Shah Rukh Khan had to try more than 50 glasses to get an exemplary look for his Raees role, the sources reveal.
Moreover, the makers had approached vendors from Bengaluru and China to find the perfect glasses that could suit SRK and blend in the entire look.
