Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has fallen victim to swine flu. The actor and his wife, could not attend the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2017 prize distribution program at Balewadi on Sunday evening as they have been infected with H1N1 virus.

“I am down with H1N1 and as it is contagious have decided to stay at home for a week,” Aamir said and requested Shah Rukh Khan to attend the event in his place. The Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2017 program of Paani Foundation was organised in Pune on Sunday. Among those present for the program were Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and founder of Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani among others.
“We are very sad to inform you,” Aamir said in a video, “that after working so hard for a year, when the time came for us to celebrate, this illness, which spreads rapidly, has forced us to stay at home for a week.”
