She wants an action movie with Katrina

She is set to hit Indian silver screens with Hollywood film, The Man In The Maze. But ex-Australian beauty queen Liana Werner-Gray is already in awe of Bollywood and, more interestingly, Katrina Kaif.

She is set to hit Indian silver screens with Hollywood film, The Man In The Maze. But ex-Australian beauty queen Liana Werner-Gray is already in awe of Bollywood and, more interestingly, Katrina Kaif. In fact, Liana calls herself a “Katrina fan.”

“I find Katrina really attractive and talented. In fact, I would love to do a film — ideally an action movie — with her. Since I am Australian and Katrina is from India, an action venture will bring a dynamic contrast. Also, since she is a very beautiful girl, I’m sure people would love to see her doing action,” she says.

Liana, who plays Megan in Mitesh Kumar Patel’s movie, has already watched a couple of Katrina’s films including Priyadarshan’s De Dana Dan (2009). “Katrina looks very vivacious and fresh on screen. And I remember the film with the song, ‘Paisa paisa…’ (De Dana Dan). I haven’t met her yet but I would love to connect,” she adds.

Before acting in The Man In The Maze, Liana has also worked as a production assistant in films like 2010’s Assisting Venus, Sinatra Club and The Fighter. But now, she is keen to do a Bollywood film. “I am waiting for an offer to come my way. In fact, I am meeting a few people from the industry. I would love to work with the Paisa paisa director (Priyadarshan),” she says.

Ask Liana what was most challenging about her film and she says, “We were supposed to wear small clothes in really cold conditions.

We had to pretend to be warm while we were literally freezing.”
