Shraddha replaces Sonakshi in biopic on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister

Shraddha Kapoor has reportedly replaced Sonakshi Sinha in Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, Haseena Parkar’s biopic.

Several reports suggest that Shraddha Kapoor will replace Sonakshi Sinha in the upcoming biopic based on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena.

Sonakshi has quit the project, being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, citing date issues. In the film, Shraddha will be seen going from a 20-year-old to a 60-year-old.

Until Januar this year, Sonakshi had not signed the project though she had expressed excitement on playing Dawood’s sister.

“We are just in talks for it. Till I sign on the dotted line I would prefer not to talk about it,” Sonakshi had said.

However, the Lootera actor was surprised at the film’s content. “I felt good that the makers felt I could carry off such a powerful role. I am surprised because of the content as I have never done that before,” she had said.
