Actor Vidya Balan smoked 10 cigarettes for a sequence in her forthcoming film, The Dirty Picture, and is now facing its consequences. The 33-year-old is now suffering from severe mouth ulcers.

“Vidya is a non-smoker, so she did have problems like coughing and uneasiness while shooting the sequence. But later on due to excessive smoking she developed mouth ulcers,” says a source from the film’s unit.
