At a time when actors share everything with their fans through social media, actor Nimrat Kaur prefers to keep her personal and professional life to herself. Despite the fact that the 34-year-old is active across all major social media platforms, while speaking to HT over the phone from Vancouver, Canada, the Lunchbox actor said she is still not used to the idea of sharing everything on social media.
“I don’t think I am fond of being on social media 24X7. I think it is quite an exhausting medium and I am still in the process of internalising it, probably. There are times when I go on posting on social media, but then, there are times when I just completely stay away from it,” she says.
“I am a little bit low key a person. I am not such a big fan of social media and posting daily updates about yourself. I’d rather let my work speak and the show/the film speak for itself than the number of posts or photos on my accounts,” she adds.

Unlike other actors, Nimrat insists that her personal life is “boring” and believes that it’s not as exciting as other celebrities. “It’s going to change in the next 10 days and then people will move on to someone else’s personal life. Honestly, it’s boring and there’s not really much to talk about. There’s nothing interesting going on in my life and it is just like any other regular human being’s life,” she says.

I want them to discuss the work I have done. I discuss my life with friends and we crack lame jokes about it, and then we forget about it and move on with our lives,” she adds.
