Sonakshi Sinha copies Madhuri Dixit?

And now, 12 years later, Prabhudheva will repeat the feat, dancing with Sonakshi Sinha, for an item number in Oh My God.

This makes Sonakshi the only female actor, apart from Madhuri, who Prabhudheva has danced with in a Hindi film. The song, which will release on August 5, is a special Janmashtami number and has been choreographed by the actor-director himself.

Ask Sonakshi about matching steps with the South star and she says, “It was fantastic. When he’s in the same frame as you, it’s really difficult. There’s not much you can do in a situation like that but pull up your socks and give it your best. With him, the bar is set very, very high.” So, will the song be an exact replica of Madhuri’s number? Sonakshi says, “Not completely. The song from Pukar and this are completely different. Besides, this one is being based on a Janmashtami theme.”

On being contacted, a spokesperson from Oh My God says, “We are hoping everyone enjoys this song and it receives the same appreciation as the iconic Prabhudheva-Madhuri pairing.”
