Sushmita Sen makes a start

Back in 2007, Sushmita Sen announced her maiden home production, Jhansi Ki Rani, with much pomp and show. However, the project never took off. And although the actor declared that she would play the lead, Rani Laxmibai, the casting for other roles was never announced.

But according to the latest news, Sushmita has finally made some headway. “I am done with writing the script of Jhansi Ki Rani. The shooting of the film will begin soon,” says Sushmita, who refused to divulge more details about the project. Although the release date of Jhansi Ki Rani has not been announced, the actor says it won’t take her long to get back on the big screen. “My fans will definitely see me in films very soon,” says Sushmita, who was last seen in No Problem (2010) which also starred Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Anil Kapoor.
