Tannishtha eyes Bollywood films

After working in international projects such as Brick Lane and Shadows of Time, actor Tannishtha Chatterjee is now focusing on Indian films, as she will be seen in I Love NY, in which she will romance actor Sunny Deol.

Directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the film is a romantic comedy, shot in New York and Chicago, and stars actors Kangana Ranaut and Navin Chowdhry. Other than this, Tannishtha has also shot for two cop-gangster stories, BMW (Bombay’s Most Wanted), and Monsoon Shootout.

In BMW, she plays a bar singer and is paired with Javed Jaafferi and Vijay Raaz, while in Monsoon Shootout, which is being co-produced by Anurag Kashyap, the actor plays a gangster’s wife. As far as international project goes, she wrapped up shooting for filmmaker Joe Wright’s Anna Karenina.
