He says that unlike his directorial debut which was openly satirical, his second film as a director-writer will be a madcap comedy.

“The script has been locked. It is a hilarious story with plenty of tongue-in-cheek humour,” says Abhishek, who took a year-and-a-half to finish the script.

Ask him about the title and he turns reticent, saying, “The title is self-explanatory and it would reveal too much, too soon. I don’t want to give away the plot at this stage.”

Currently busy with the casting, Abhishek wants to go on the floors by mid-2012. Quiz him on the cast, and he says, “We are in talks with some actors. The process of arriving at the final draft was pretty slow. But now that the script is done, I am ready to shoot.”

The filmmaker admits that he would love to repeat his Tere Bin Laden lead actors, Ali Zafar and Pradhuman Singh, in his second film, he doesn’t think they fit the parts.
