His upcoming film may be his dad Boney Kapoor’s production, but actor Arjun Kapoor says that he is not getting any preferential treatment on the sets of Tevar for being the ‘producer’s son’.
“There’s no pampering going on just because my dad is the film’s producer. We have a very professional environment ... Boney Kapoor may be my dad but on the sets, I am the actor and he’s my producer, so there’s no scope for indiscipline or complacency,” says the 28-year-old for whom this is the first project under his father’s banner.
Arjun is happy to work with daddy dearest, nevertheless. “It, of course, adds a different dimension when you act in your dad’s film; I haven’t spent so much time with him in the past two-three years, so having him around all the time is a good feeling,” says the three-film-old actor, who is the son of Boney’s first wife, the late Mona Kapoor. Boney is currently married to actor Sridevi.
Arjun, who was known to be very close to his mum, who passed away in 2012, recently inked a ‘Ma’ tattoo on his wrist. But, he is in no mood to flaunt it. “It’s a very personal thing, and I don’t want to go around talking about it,” he says.
