Vaani Kapoor in Tamil-Telugu remakes of Band Baaja Baarat
Vaani Kapoor, featuring in Shuddh Desi Romance with Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput, has been roped in for the Tamil-Telugu remake of YRF’s Telugu star Nani is the male lead opposite Vaani. The film is being directed by Gokul Krishna.
They have launched names like Anushka Sharma and Parineeti Chopra. Now, Yash Raj Films (YRF) seem to be promoting another fresh face, model, Vaani Kapoor.
The Delhi girl has already been cast in Maneesh Sharma’s Shuddh Desi Romance (SDR), where she will act with Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti. She has even been roped in for the Tamil-Telugu remake of YRF’s Telugu star Nani is the male lead opposite Vaani. The film is being directed by Gokul Krishna.
Like her predecessors, Vaani is believed to have already landed a three-film deal with Aditya Chopra’s banner. Reportedly, she was spotted by YRF officials during an event in the capital, and she met Chopra about a year ago. An impressed Chopra apparently asked his casting team to immediately audition her, and that’s when she was signed on for SDR.
