Rock On director Abhishek Kapoor's lastest film Kai Po Che's trailer has been released. The two minute clip shows lead actors Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh as best friends.
Sushant Singh Rajput who plays the character Ishaan in the film, looks promosing in the trailer. The music, by Amit Trivedi, adds a lot of drama to the film.
Kai Po Che! is an upcoming film based on Chetan Bhagat's novel The 3 Mistakes of My Life directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
The film portrays the journey of three friends as they discover cricket, religion and business in their respective fields. Set against the backdrop of religious politics, the story underlines the three mistakes made by Govind. The film as well as the book is set in Gujarat, so the title Kai Po Che.

Director Abhishek Kapoor is on a mission — he wants to bring long lost friends together. The team of Kai Po Che, Abhishek’s upcoming film, is promoting the film through a contest based on friendship.
A source says, "The team is planning a contest which will be held in February in 16 cities across India. People who want to unite with their friends will be asked to write and explain why they want to meet and patch up with their lost friends. The team will then select a few of these stories and help bring the friends together. Along with Abhishek, the lead cast of the film Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh and Raj Kumar Yadav will also help in choosing stories that will come in."

Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On fame says he had his heart set on the script of his next movie, Kai Po Che, right since the beginning. The director, who was earlier making films with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel entertainment says, "They didn’t like the idea behind the film. I had my heart set on it and I approached UTV, who were also keen on making the movie."

Kapoor, whose film is based on famed author Chetan Bhagat’s novel, The 3 Mistakes of my Life, also says that Chetan Bhagat will get due credit of the film. “He was involved in the discussions and he was happy with the idea and my version of it. I introduced a lot of new adaptations around the basic plot provided by Chetan’s books. He knows it and is happy with it.”, says Kapoor. Kai Po Che! to hit screens in February 2013?
The shooting of Kai Po Che!, based on Chetan Bhagat's novel "The 3 Mistakes of My Life", will be complete within two days, says director Abhishek Kapoor.
"We have been shooting for this film at many different locations. Now there are just two days left for the shooting. UTV will make an official announcement of when the film is slated for release. But I believe it should release by February 2013." STORY INSIDE
