Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy, 66, has revealed that he was not happy with the ending of his epic 1975 film, Sholay. “Sholay’s climax was actually suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification as they found the original too violent. I had to re-shoot the whole scene and make it the way they wanted it. But as a filmmaker, I was not satisfied with the end,” he said.
