When Akshay Kumar turned butler, driver, cook and clown for family

Akshay Kumar is currently on a month-long holiday with his family; adds that there is nothing better than seeing them happy.

It’s a known fact that Akshay Kumar goes on a family holiday with his wife, Twinkle Khanna and kids — son Aarav and daughter Nitara — every year during the summer. A couple of days back, the family took off for their annual vacation, and will be visiting Europe, USA and UAE, in the coming month.

Akshay Kumar says he has to become the ‘staff’ during his family vacations as none of his regular staff members accompany them.

Unlike his usual outings abroad, during which Akshay’s staff accompanies him, and takes care of all his requirements, this time around, it is Akshay who will personally be taking care of his family during the vacation. For instance, the star will be handling the family’s lodging, and will even be driving them around. That is because none of his team members have gone with Akshay for the holiday.

Although Akshay admits that he misses his staff on such trips, he also gets a “kick” from being a complete family man. He adds, “I have an entire entourage to take care of everything that I need the rest of the year. But on holidays, I am the ‘staff’. When the people you love depend on you for the most fulfilling time of their life, there’s nothing better than being the one who makes that happen. Plus, an actor needs to step back and keep things real too. Holidays are a time to reflect for all of us as it’s during times like these that one appreciates one’s employees the most (smiles).”
