"Deepak, a Chennai-based fan — who also runs a Twitter handle titled Team Arjun — came all the way to Mumbai with the hope of meeting him on his birthday. He didn’t expect his wish to come true, so he was surprised and overwhelmed when Arjun not only met him, but also ended up celebrating the occasion with him. He even arranged for a cake, gifts and autographed memorabilia for Deepak," says an insider.

Arjun has been maintaining a low profile as he gears up for his next, so he hasn’t been meeting too many people. "But when he heard that Deepak had come to Mumbai just to meet him, he made an exception," adds the insider.

When contacted, Arjun confirmed the story and said, "I am nothing without all of them (fans), and I was very happy to meet Deepak and spend time with him."
