A source close to Kareena says, “She had gone to Delhi for the promotions of Talaash and after two hectic days, she returned with the cast on Thursday morning. She had high fever and a throat infection even then, so she rested for a few hours. But as she had committed to a channel for her appearance on a reality show to launch her item song ‘Fevicol se’ from Dabangg 2, she had to leave for Lonavala that same evening.”

The source adds, “Kareena is a professional so she decided to stick to her commitment to Bigg Boss, which would have been tough to reschedule.

Skipping the premiere was the only option.

However, she did apologise to the producers Aamir and Farhan (Akhtar) who were fine with her decision.”
