Actor Akshay Kumar has some soulful numbers to his credit, such as Falak Tak Chal Saath (Tashan) and Mere Nishaan (OMG – Oh My God!). At the same time, he has many chartbusters, which may not be high on lyrical value, for instance, Papa Toh Band Bajaye (Housefull 2) and Hookah Bar (Khiladi 786).

Nevertheless, his films are known to be high on music. However, Khiladi Kumar has a critic at home. His 12-year-old son, Aarav.
“When Aarav watches films, he often wonders as to why there are so many songs in Hindi films. He says, ‘Why do these heroes and heroines keep breaking into song and dance (laughs)’. Then I tell him that sometimes a song is important to take the story forward, and sometimes for entertainment,” says the 47-year-old actor.
However, Aarav absolutely loves watching his dad beat up the bad guys on the silver screen.
“When he watches my films, he laughs a lot and gets very happy when he sees me beat up the goons,” says Akshay, who has delivered two of the highest grossing films of this year — Gabbar is Back and Baby, and he is already ready with an action-drama.
