She also said more performance oriented roles are being written for actresses now. “The kind of roles that we’re getting have also really changed. The horizon has widened.”

Also present at the event was Vidya’s co-star from the film, Arjun Rampal, who said age really doesn’t matter in movies. “I think age is something in mind only. It’s not something which should bother someone,” he said.

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh the movie is scheduled to release this Friday.
