The 42-year-old who is passionate about travel, sport and cinema, is out with his first book — eighteen plus. The book is a collection of 18 adult stories with a dollop of erotica, blended with chunks of humour.

On his experience of writing the book, Nagpal tells us, “Writing was the easy part. I wrote it in less than a month. I used to make little notes, if a thought or a situation struck me and then when I used to sit on my writing chair, I would go through them.”

When asked if the author believes if such sort of writing is still a taboo in India, he says, “This writing can surely be universally respected. Just because there is sex in it, it does not mean that there is something wrong. To emphasise my point, the book comprises short stories, which are desi, quirky, funny and happen to have explicit sex in them. Unfortunately, the latter seems to prejudice certain people but thankfully they are minuscule in number.”

The book that runs 172 pages is priced at `195 and is available at all bookstores nationally.
