Not much has changed on the HT-Nielsen best-seller list for fiction this week. Amish Tripathi’s Sita leads, followed by Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl, Paulo Coehlo’s The Alchemist, Arundhati Roy’s The Ministry of Utmost Happiness and Durjoy Datta’s The Boy Who Loved.
Tripathi’s nonfiction debut, Immortal India, which held the number one spot last week, moves to the fifth position, giving way to Raghuram Rajan’s I Do What I Do. Dr Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind and Napolean Hill’s Think and Grow Rich are at the second and third spot. Shashi Tharoor’s An Era of Darkness – a new entrant on the list – is at the fourth position.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone continues to hold the number one spot on the best-selling children’s books by international publishers, followed by Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Peppa Pig: Little Library and Jeff Kinney’s latest Wimpy Kid offering: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down are at number three and four, followed by another Potter book – Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
