HT-Nielsen top 10: Rupa Bhullar’s The Indigo Sun leads best-selling fiction list

Here’s your weekly digest of the best-selling fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.

There has been an unexpected coup of sorts on the bestselling fiction list this week. Paulo Coehlo’s The Alchemist has moved from last week’s second position to the first, followed by Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl. Rupa Bhullar’s The Indigo Sun, a new entrant this week, is at number three and last week’s topper, Ashwin Sanghi’s Keepers of the Kalachakra, is at number four. Amish’s Sita is at the fifth position.

Joshua Pollock and Kamlesh D Patel’s The Heartfulness Way continues to top the non-fiction list. Last week’s new entrant at number five, Shashi Tharoor’s Why I Am A Hindu, is now at the second position. Mark Manson’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck is at number three, followed by Yuval Noah Harari’s Sapiens and Sadhguru’s Inner Engineering.

365 Bedtime Stories continues to hold the first position on the list of bestselling children’s books in Indian publishing. Timeless Tales from Panchatantra comes next, followed by Ruskin Bond’s The Blue Umbrella and Arshia Sattar’s Ramayana for Children. 101 Panchatantra Stories is at the fifth position.
