Swap it...
In Paperbackswap.com, all you have to do is add any books that you have to your account and then add story titles to your "wish list". Once you've posted some of your books, they may be requested by other users. When you send them out, you get a credit! That's when you can start browsing and order any book on the site. When you order you get it shipped to you free.

Also, if you are the first account for your household, you get two startup credits as soon as you list 10 books with the club. That means two free books from other members of the club right away. Or don't wait. You can purchase a credit for just $3.45. Not too shabby!

Search for it
On Amazon.com you can read excerpts, get book suggestions, editorial reviews and more. A great feature is the "customers who bought this item also bought..." which gives a list of books that you might like if you like the item you're searching. You can also browse the bestseller lists, subjects and new releases.

Free, free and more free!
Okay, this one's a bit obvious but still a great deal! It's a little place we call the public library. If you are an avid reader you know buying books can get very expensive. Sometimes nothing beats the good-old city library. In case you don't remember, or haven't been there in a while, the books at the library are free. Just sign up for your library card and go shopping. Just be sure you get those books back in time or you'll have to pay those dreaded fine.
