“My father always wanted me to be a hockey player; I, however, chose basketball back then. Since I have been associated with this league (also the highest paid league of hockey world over), for the past two weeks, I have fallen in love with it! Every team is improving with each match, helping the tempo of the game rise. I enjoy interviewing players, as I get to know of the game in depth,” said the model-turned-anchor.

With her roots in Hoshiarpur, the anchor said she’s all for home team, Punjab Warriors. “My favourite player is the captain of Punjab warriors, Jamie Dwyer,” she added.

So, any plans of hopping from HIL to IPL? “Presently, I have given everything I have to hockey and am keen to be associated with it, for future leagues as well. Cricket is not on the cards as of now.”

Her dream project, however, remains a Bhansali film. “The reason I want to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is because he portrays his leading ladies beautifully. He brings out the real beauty of the actor on the screen,” said she.
