Launching its 12th outlet in the country, Sandeep Dawar, managing director, Sugar n Spice, says, “The restaurant has its roots in Surat (Gujarat), with all the 11 outlets in Gujarat itself. In Chandigarh, we know the location is not in our favour, but our food will bring you back. The only difference between the counters at Surat and Chandigarh is, we would not serve the Gujarati buffet here.”

Catering to Punjabis’ food cravings, the restaurant offers kebabs, pizzas, kathi rolls, Frankies, Punjabi curries, Chinese combos, thalis (veg and non-veg), tandoori tikkas and more.

When they have sugar and spice, how have sour and savoury be left behind? Catering to the same is the street food counter, which offers favourites such as aloo tikki, chhole bhature, golgappa, dahi bhalle, gujiya, chat papri and pav bhaji.
