Domestic benchmark indices traded higher on Monday in the afternoon session supported mostly by Bharti Airtel, ONGC and Reliance Industries as they tracked Asian peers.

The S&P BSE Sensex was 437.92 or 1.46% up at 30,466.90 and the NSE Nifty 50 was at 8,948.75 or 125.50 points higher at 1:02pm.
On the 30 share Sensex, Reliance Industries was trading up at over 9% followed by ONGC, UltraTech Cement, Kotak and ITC. Nifty Auto and Nifty Financial, up 2.09% and 2.20% respectively, led the rally on the broader Nifty.

Nifty PSU and Realty sectorals were in the red.
Sensex had opened 1.4% higher at 30,450 and Nifty 50 up at 8,961, up 1.57%.
Sensex had ended down 1,068.75 points or 3.44% at 30,028, while the NSE Nifty 50 ended at 8,823, down 3.32% on Monday.
