NEW DELHI: Malaysia’s AirAsia Group chief Tony Fernandes has been given the status of Overseas Citizen of India (OIC) by the government, amid concerns in certain quarters over control at budget carrier AirAsia India. Fernandes’ father was of Goan origin.
