NEW DELHI: Tata Power Solar has commissioned a 100-megawatt (MW) solar project for NTPC in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, the biggest solar project commissioned till date, using domestically manufactured solar cells and modules. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Tata Power Solar said it delivered the project in record 80% of the stipulated timeline, and three months ahead of schedule. It also said its Singapore-based subsidiary Tata Power International Pte (TPIPL) has completed the sale of its 50% stake in OTP Geothermal Pte to KS Orka Renewables for $30 million.
