Ultratech cement net up 25% at ₹614 cr

NEW DELHI: Ultratech Cement on Monday reported a 25% growth in consolidated net profit at ₹613.64 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016, compared to ₹490.59 crore in the same period last fiscal, on the back of lower expenses. Consolidated total income from operations, however, declined to ₹6,508.62 crore during the quarter over ₹6,669.45 crore in the year-ago period. Total expenses fell to ₹5,624.16 crore from R₹5,972.39 crore.
