Cipla net up 36% on sales

Drug major Cipla on Thursday announced 36% increase in net profit at Rs. 292 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012 from Rs. 214 crore in the previous fiscal backed by robust sales in domestic and international market.

Domestic revenue grew by 16% to Rs. 754 while exports of formulations grew by 15% to Rs. 855 crore.

Total income of the company stood at Rs. 1865.6 crore from Rs. 1667.7 crore in the previous fiscal year.
