Govt releases funds for building Karaikal fishing harbour
The Government has released Rs 34.06 crore for construction of a fishing harbour in Karaikal.

The Government has released an amount of Rs 34.06 crore for construction of a fishing harbour in Karaikal, according to Pondicherry Chief Minister, N Rangasamy.
The funds were released under a centrally sponsored scheme through the agriculture ministry, he said in a press release on Wednesday.
Work on the harbour would begin immediately, he said.
