IDEA Cellular Ltd on Saturday announced the reduction in cost of its prepaid starter pack. The starter pack, earlier priced at Rs 299 will now be available to customers in the Delhi & NCR region at Rs 199.
IDEA Cellular also announced a free airtime of Rs 50 to customers who recharge with vouchers amounting to Rs 324 and above, said a company press release.
IDEA Cellular Ltd CEO Vikram Mehmi said: “Our new pricing of the starter pack for the prepaid customers will enable them to derive the best value from their IDEA mobile connection. While it would make their mobile experience more affordable, it would also enable them to stay connected with many more people.”
IDEA Cellular Ltd recently became the first operator in the country to commercially offer EDGE services to subscribers in Delhi & NCR. As per a recent survey by TRAI, IDEA offers best voice quality and lowest call drop in Delhi among all cellular service providers, the release added.
